| This is the lovely 10 1/2" fashion doll made by American Character called "Toni" (not to be confused with Ideal's popular Toni "permanent wave" doll of the same era). American Character's Toni came in a few different sizes. This smallest version, made between 1958 - 1960, was a competitor of the Ideal Little Miss Revlon and Vogue's Jill and Jan. She had many fashionable outfits that could be bought separately. She has a very pretty face, and this version has soft blue eye shadow. | ||
| I found this dress at an antique shop in a pile of clothes and bought it for her. I am not 100% certain, but I think it might be an original for her. There are no tags but it is factory made. | ||
