DOCTOR DAN the Bandage Man
This book was originally written in 1950 by Helen Gaspard and illustrated by Corinne Malverne.  The book was reissued on the "Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Little Golden Books".  There are Roman numerals to indicate that this book was printed in 1992.  The unique feature of this book is that with each book sold, there were two Johnson & Johnson bandages glued on the front page, to go along with the story.  Often these bandages are missing because the child would quickly use them.  This book still has the bandages intact.  

This is a classic story about a little boy who "doctor's up" his sister's dollie, his pet dog, etc.  This is not the original printing of this book but is the exact same story and pictures.  It is in mint condition.  Another interesting thing about this copy is that there is a quote on the back cover by Maurice Sendak (Caldecott Medalist "Where the Wild Things Are").  I have another 50th Year reissue that does not have this quote on the back so this could be a rarer version, but don't know for sure.
