Anything Holly Hobbie was so very popular in the 1970s and early 80s.  Holly and her friends are still very popular with collectors today because of their sweet country charm.  This version is Holly dressed in her powdery-blue, calico print, nightgown.  Her monogrammed pocket holds her bed-time teddy bear.  Holly is in overall very nice clean condition.  Her facial  coloring is soft but as intended.  The sleeves on the gown have lost their elastic.  There are no stains or rips in her body or outfit.  She does not have a box.   Overall a very nice doll to add to your Holly Hobbie collection and in a variation outfit that is not as common as the traditional calico print.   

Holly's  face is very clean and her painted features are painted in muted pastel colors and are  clear and crisp. Her braids are still securely tied.

~ * ~ * ~ Here is Holly's little "stuffed animal" that I believe is a bear.  The little eyes and nose are just tiny pieces of felt that are glued on so they seem a little delicate and could come loose if this was given to a child for play.  The eyes appear different sizes but they are the same, it is just the angle of the photo. The little pet is non-removable.   Knickerbocker tag still attached to back of her nightgown though is slightly frayed.  The other side says "The Original Holly Hobbie".  There is no date.

BACK VIEW The back of Holly's bonnet appears soiled in this shot, but it is not (must be a shadow).  It is very clean and bright like the rest of her.  The stuffing in the bonnet has settled a bit but this is very common.

Holly has blue gingham non-removable pantaloons that match the bodice and trim of her bonnet.  ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
