16" Holly Hobbie Rag Doll Heather

Anything Holly Hobbie was so very popular in the 1970s. Holly and her friends are still very popular with collectors today because of their sweet country charm. Holly Hobbie family rag dolls came in several sizes. This is a common and popular 16" size. This HEATHER does not have her box anymore but she still has been kept very clean. The paper filling of her bonnet has flattened over time and the brim of her bonnet is a bit bent.

Most of the time you can see a lot of wear and tear on these loose Holly Hobbie rag dolls but everything about this HEATHER is clean and pretty. She was probably well taken care of. She was probably not played with, perhaps only displayed.

Her former mommy's initials "HS" are lightly written in ballpoint pen on the tag that is attached to her dress. Otherwise she is great!

Heather's clean face with bright facial paint intact. Braids are in great shape. The left one was a little loose at the temple where the glue had released its hold but I put a small amount of fabric glue to re-glue it down.
