FOR SALE: Arranbee's Littlest Angel

This cute 10 1/2" toddler doll was made by Arranbee Dolls.   She was the most popular of the chubbie toddler dolls made during the 50s and 60s.  She has a hard plastic, bent-knee body with a vinyl head w/rooted ash blonde hair.  She is a played with doll, not mint.  I dressed her in this outfit which fits her well and may be an original, though there are no tags.  I couldn't find this exact dress in my reference books. The hair ribbon was added.  The socks are vintage and a bit stretched.  Her panties are a knit material which may also be original.  The shoes are marked Cinderella /Size  01.  Her legs bend easily at the hip, and her knees bend freely, but they don't want to stay locked into position and I don't want to force them.  Because of this, I cannot get her to stand on her own.  I will include a small doll stand so that she can be displayed.

She is marked on the back of her neck:  R & B / 82, and on her back:  R & B Doll Co.   I am assuming this doll was sold by Arranbee, but it is possible that she was marketed when Vogue bought out the company.  They used up the R&B dolls before changing the markings to Vogue.  Her hair is a pretty ashy blonde that I don't see very often.  It does appear to be a bit fuzzy on the ends, probably from her prior mommy's styling.  It does not appear to be cut.   Hair is thick with no missing plugs.  I pulled it back into this half ponytail with a sheer blue ribbon tie.

Littlest Angel has beautiful, facial coloring.  Her grayish/blue eyes sparkle.  Eyes open and close well.  Blush is a bit softer on the right cheek.  Lip color is strong with no rubs.   Her body is very clean and in nice overall condition.  She does not appear to have been played with much.

As mentioned earlier, a stand will be included so that she can stand for display.
