FOR SALE: 1984 Hasbro Real Baby, 20"

A darling played with doll made by Hasbro.  Real Baby is 20" tall, the size of about a six month old, and is weighted to feel like a newborn baby.  Her fingers and toes are very realistic.  She was designed by doll artist J. Turner, for Hasbro.  There were a few versions that I know of, they came with open inset eyes like this one, or closed eyes (sleeping).  She can wear real baby clothes and this one is wearing just that.  I dressed her in this but not sure of the actual size.  It looks to be about a 3 to 6 mo. size.  The dress is in good shape but is missing the top button in the back.  Dress has matching bloomers.

Close up of Real Baby's face.  Hard to see but she has brush lashes that extend outward.  The lashes on her right eye appear a bit uneven like they may have been cut a little, but overall they are full.  Her lip paint is nice and her brows are light, like her hair.  Unfortunately her hair has seen better days.  These dolls have wigs (not rooted hair).  Hers appears to have been cut by her former "mommy" and is pretty fuzzy.  I washed it and put this little satin ribbon around her head to "pretty it up" as much as possible without replacing it, but a new mommy might want to just re-wig her eventually.

	This is her hair without the ribbon.  As you can see it is very thin, fuzzy, and cut.  A new wig may be in order but I'm selling her as is.
Her brush lashes extend giving her eyes a real appearance.  Eyes are inset in a stationary open position.

Limbs do show some surface wear and slight soiling from play.  Backs of her legs show most of it.


Body Tag is still attached, but rather frayed and faded.
