FOR SALE: Lauer 12" Water Baby

An interesting doll from the early 1990s.  She is marked ©1990 Lauer Toys, Inc. on the back of her neck.  There were a couple of different sizes of these dolls.  She is 12" tall (I believe this was the largest).  The unique feature of this doll is that she can be filled with water to give her weight like a real baby.  She can also be filled with warm water to be very cuddly (almost like a child's hot water bottle).  I found her without clothing so redressed her in this little generic dress and panties.  I suppose the doll could be redressed in boy clothing as well.  I've been told that these dolls came with a filling funnel to help get the water into them but I've never seen one.  I haven't had any trouble filling them by squeezing the plug while holding it under running water.  Takes time but it works.

Face is in excellent condition. Minor amount of play wear.  Molded blond hair is in great condition, very little wear but there are some scuffs.
