There were several accessory items added throughout the short run of Strawberry Shortcake to create additional imaginative play value . The items below relate to the dolls themselves. Collecting these items can be a challenge in and of itself. Many collectors start out with only the dolls and pets but realize that adding the accessory items is fun and enhances their collections. (The fact that it becomes an obsession is beside the point!)

Carrying Case

Shaped like a strawberry this case opened to transport your loose dolls and pets to grandma's or a friends.

Berry Happy Home (front)

This was the ultimate dream of every little Strawberry Shortcake fan! It was quite expensive at the time, I believe close to $100.00 so I am sure that there aren't that many circulating today. Thus, it has become quite collectible on the secondary market. The home came with some furniture and there were additional pieces which could be purchased separately. The house is very well made. It reminds me of a "Candy Land" house.

This is the back, or play side, of the house. It had three floors, plus an outdoor second story balcony off the bedroom. There is a detachable stairway up to the attic. As you can see there is plenty of room for Strawberry and several of her friends to fit quite comfortably.

Blueberry Muffin's Garden Shoppe	There were three little houses designed for the miniatures. This is Blueberry Muffin's Garden Shoppe. The houses were sold with accessory items but were not sold with the miniature dolls. *~~~~**
They came with accessories but this one was purchased empty in a thrift shop. *~~~~**
Strawberry Shortcake's Mini House When you were all through playing, everything could be packed inside for storage.
	Inside, Strawberry could entertain her friends. Came with the household accessories, I'm missing the bed. *~~~~ The other mini house is Raspberry Tart's Soda Shoppe (not shown). It is shaped like a big bowl of strawberry ice cream. Yummmm!**

Miniatures Storybook Play Case

Designed like a book, complete with a little story, this case not only stored your miniatures, but also became a play backdrop. Great for storing pets, too.

In addition, there were also whole lines of bedroom furniture and clothing for real little girls, so that they too could live in a world full of sweet strawberries. Books, stickers, records, jewelry, lunchboxes, and videos, too!
