Sweet Sleeper Dolls

Dolls from L to R:

~
Raspberry Tart
         w/Rhubarb

~Strawberry Shortcake
         w/Custard

~Blueberry Muffin
            w/Cheesecake

~Orange Blossom
        missing Marmalade

~Lemon Meringue
        missing Frappe frog

These dolls were marketed as "The cutest bedtime bunch around - even with their eyes closed."  There were only five dolls in this line.  Each had sleep eyes and came dressed in night clothes. Their pet's eyes were painted closed as well.  The doll tucked away in a soft fuzzy sleeping bag. The box they came in had a cello window that peeked into a bedroom scene.

The Sweet Sleeper eyes have a somewhat eerie look so many collectors do not find them attractive.

Here is an example of the differences in pets depending on which series they were from:

1) Regular Marmalade

2) Party Pleaser Marmalade

3) Sweet Sleeper Marmalade
