1957-62 Bent Knee Walker Vogue Ginny

A sweet little bargain Ginny to add to your collection.  A new wig may be in order.  The stitching on this one is coming out of her hair and it looks like someone tried to fix it but it wasn't a good repair.  This is how I found her.  Unless she wears a hat, it is very noticeable.  The wig glue has loosened quite a bit as well.  I've styled her hair in these pigtails and given her a straw hat and overalls and she reminds me of a little country girl.  The outfit she is wearing is actually the 1956 Gym Kids play suit.    Her walker works loosely. Arms hold a pose fine.

Hook fastener is still present, but the eye portion is missing.  She is wearing Ginny marked shoes with heel, but has no socks.

Her eyes do not open/close freely, need help.  Her eyes are a bright blue and she has the paler skin-tone of the early 60s BKWs.  Nice brown brows.  The glue has dried and browned on the cat appliqué on the front of the overalls, which is typical of many of the older outfits.

REMEMBER THESE DOLLS IN THE SECOND CHANCE SECTION ARE IN NEED OF TENDER LOVING CARE AND ARE BARGAIN DOLLS TO BEGIN WITH.  PERFECTION SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED.  ALL DOLLS WILL SHOW PLAY WEAR IN SOME FORM OR OTHER SUCH AS CHEEK RUBS, SCRAPES AND SCRATCHES TO PLASTIC, FADING OR STAINING OF VINYL OR CLOTHING, POSSIBLE CHEW MARKS ON LIMBS, ETC., ALTHOUGH NOT ALL DOLL HAS ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS.  NOT EVERY LITTLE DEFECT IS NOTED BUT IN EACH INDIVIDUAL CASE, I HAVE TRIED TO INCLUDE THE OBVIOUS AND MOST CONCERNING.
