This doll has only been removed briefly from the box to photograph her but she was kept on the backing.  She is still securely fastened to the box insert and still has the cellophane around her hair.  She is a brunette who wears a darling red/white cheerleader type outfit, with red plastic shoes and white socks.  She would be a great example of this variation of Ginny doll, if you are collecting each type.  Or, perhaps this is the one from your childhood?

These dolls and their clothing were not made as well as the earlier or later dolls but they still have a place in Ginny history and are worthy of any collection.

Back View of Box with a letter from Ginny.  The box itself is worn and has sticker residue, worn edges, and surface wear but the cello is still intact.  The tape that had secured the package had already been broken so that is why I went ahead and lifted the doll out for a better photograph.  Even though I can't call her NRFB, she really hasn't been removed from the box for display or play.  She is in excellent condition for this type of lesser quality Ginny.
