FOR SALE: Ideal's Tiffany Taylor
Item Code #D-I-TIFF
~ SOLD ~

This "leggy" beauty is a unique fashion doll made by Ideal for only a few years between 1973-75.  She has a rotating scalp that transforms her from a blond to a brunette in an instant.   She stands 18" tall.  She wears the original outfit that these dolls were sold in.  The skirt attaches to the gold leotard by looping around a pearl-like button.  Looks like this one was reattached.  Overall very nice condition.  There are some fly-away hair strands around the scalp where the hair turns around but this is probably typical of a played with doll due to the nature of the rotation (bound to get tangled a bit).

Same doll, her hair has just been rotated.  The blond has a center-part, the brunette has bangs.

Tag inside skirt, although very frayed, has her name and part of the Ideal logo.

Stand not included. You may want to use a stand, but she can stand on her own.

There are some stains on the skirt that I was not able to get out when I washed it.

(because the blond is parted down the middle without bangs, the hair doesn't lay as flat as the reverse.

Though the shoes look too small for her, these are her original platform sandals.

She has beautiful brush "false eyelashes" that extend outward.
(like the "mod" Barbies of the same era).

I noticed when I removed her leotard that her right leg is slightly away from the body and appears a bit loose in the socket (like part of it may be detached).  It could be because her leg was pulled a lot when her former mommy tried changing her clothes a little too aggressively.  I thought it was important to mention this but this does not detract from her as a display doll.  She can still stand alone when balanced.  However, I probably would not make this doll a toy for a child or change her clothing frequently.
